My son is a diabetic, when his blood sugar levels are normal and not running high he urinates just as much as a non-diabetic, when his blood sugars are running high he can urinate as often as every 5, 10 or 15 minutes. High blood sugars cause diabetics to drink more hence the fact they need the toilet more. Hope this helps!
It is possible that these could be signs and symptoms of diabetes. However, these are very broad signs and symptoms that could mean a number of many other medical conditions. For example, UTI, pregnancy, kidney stones. The list goes on and on. You should make an appointment with your doctor and discuss all of your symptoms.
I am currently 32, diagnosed w/diabetes at age 28, for the last 2 years i have had frequent urination during day and night with urgency. Is it common to have this problem at my age? Is there medication that could help?
Have you ever had your prostate checked? An enlarged prostate gland could cause this problem.

Most people go every 4-6 hours on average, depending on how much you drink. Frequent urination associated with diabetes is every 2-3 hours or more. It feels like you are constantly in the bathroom, and like you have to go every 15 minutes or so. It does not stop at night, either. It’s a sign your kidneys are trying to flush themselves out because you have high levels of sugar in the blood stream and the only place for it to go is out. It is also the source of the constant thirst associated with diabetes. You drink more, therefore you pee more. Hope this helps!! 
Hey all. I’ve noticed lately Ive been urinating alot more then usual. Im a 17 year old female and I decided to keep track for today. I urinated 10 times today between the times of 10am and 10pm. ( this is not counting the times i get up at night, usually once maybe twice) I also kept track of my fluid intake. I drank about 70 ounces of water and about 40 ounces of diet coke.
My urine was always a pale yellow-clear.
Im worried about diabetes (type 1 and insipidus)
Also: I don’t think type 2 is an option for me. I’m not at all overweight and I’m a pretty active person. I eat constantly, but my weight stays the same. I eat dinner and an hour later I will be hungry.
Firstly you need to get some facts right type 2 diabetics are not all overweight and they can be very active. So you could be type 2 but I think you are urinating a lot because you DRINK a lot .If you were type 1 you would have more symptoms than just urinating a lot. But if you thing you are diabetic then you need to talk to your doctor and get tested for diabetes because if you are diabetic then the sooner treatment is started the better

No other symptoms. Mouth not dry. Going every 2 hours. Night and Day. Person is a 46 year old female.
After certain age the muscles lose elasticity and tend to relax; we are able to hold our urine with muscles. When those muscles relax it causes frequent urination.
If the person drinks a lot of "soda" or coffee, that also enables the frequency of the urination since "soda" and coffee have diuretic capacities.
I remember with me…if I wasn’t drinking something (sooo thirsty), or eating something (sooo hungery), I was peeing. At that point the body has given up on food even though I was feeding it because there wasn’t any insulin to break down the food. SO the body decided to eat the fat and then the muscle I had…the reason for extreme thirst was all the junk in the blood from the food that the body couldn’t process had to get out by way of the bladder. Thus, back to urination…very frequent, and the amounts were large each time. NOTE: in my case the urine did have a somewhat sweet smell (kinda gross, but to date, if my blood sugar is high it will be that way). Hope this helps, if in doubt SEEK A DOCTOR.
