Your symptoms of thirst could be a clue, but the dizziness is probably not related. The occasional episode of dizziness is normal during pregnancy, but frequent ones are not. You should definintely mention all of your problems to your doctor - if he or she suspects GD, you might be able to take a glucose test early (generally they are not given until around 28 weeks). Also, get your iron level checked. I had some dizziness in my 6th or 7th month and found out my blood count was a little low. All I had to do was add more iron to my diet to fix it. Good luck and congrats!
References :
Thoes are definalty syptoms of GD, i would go to your doctor asap and he will get you to do a 2 or a 3 hour glucose test and that way you will find out for sure if you have it or not.
References :
36 weeks 5 days, doc thinks i may have GD i drink litres and litres of water a day. It is the only thing that makes me feel hydrated but it had to be icey water or icey cold. Chewing on ice blocks all the time. Hasnt sent me for a glucose test because i am most likely being induced in a couple of weeks so i just have to watch what i eat.
