Frequent Urination in Diabetes?

I know that a sign of diabetes is frequent urination. But how many times a day would be considered "frequent" to worry about?
Go to your doctor. You cant afford to muck around with things like this. It could be a sign of kidney disease which is a complication of diabetes.
Believe me I know I am in this situation and it needs to be dealt with now!!

This is an impossible question to answer. More frequent urination could mean a number of things. Could be something as minor as a urine infection or maybe something a little more.
Everyone knows what is normal to them and how many times roughly they urinate in a day. You are obviously urinating more than norm, therefore a trip to the doctor will ease your concerns.

Frequent urination is a symptom of diabetes, and if not tested it’s possible to have serious health probelms. But Diabetes is not the only issue in which grquent urination occurs. Prostate problems, kidney disorders and infections can also cause this. Frequent is consided to be more then 5-10 times through the day while not having any more input in fluids then normal.
I would suggest that if this is a concern to have it checked by a doctor.

Frequent is what is more than normal for you. And frequent urination is not the only symptom. There are others or you could not have any. You could have an infection causing that. Go to the doctor for a factual diagnosis and not a guess. That would be your best bet.

Well, frequent is really different for everybody. I would say at least two more times than usual a day. Before I got diagnosed, I was getting up three times a night just to go to the bathroom, and was constantly dehydrated. So we knew something was wrong. Hope that helped

It depends on what is normal for you. I go at least six times a night, and that’s too much. If I go more than six or seven times a day. that is also not normal for me. I have type2 diabetes.
