3.4 is a little to low and will cause dizziness. Low sugar level is just as dangerous as excessive sugar if not worse. You need to see a doc immediately. Dont waste time here looking for the right answer. You need a professional advice...and this is a professional advice of a sort....agree?
References :
Im type1 as well.
Technically any blood sugar measure below 3.8 is classed as hypoglycemia, however in untreated diabetes its more likely that your blood sugar reading would be sky high, (but also the pancreas doesn't stop producing insulin immediately its usually a process over a period of time which may or may not explain it.)
If your sister lives with you have something sizable to eat then check your sugars on her tester after 2 hours or so - if they are over double figures bad sign.
Bottom line - go see the doc and get a urine test.
High sugars wont harm you in the short term, but high ketone levels (a by product of your body burning fat to get sugars) will if untreated and could put you in a coma so best go see the doc a.s.a.p.
