I wanted to answer the question on diabetes,IE blood glucose, My answer: 70-110mg?

Oct 21, 2009 | Blood Glucose Diabetes

The question? what is a "normal" fasting blood glucose?

MY answer: 70-100mg

Its a pity the Americans don’t stay off the UK and Ireland site. The information they give is toally wrong for the Uk market. We measure blood sugars in millimols per litre. A good figure is between 5 and 7.

yes, that is the correct range. diabetes is diagnosed by a fasting blood glucose level over 126. if you are in the 70-80 range, that is ideal.
